Duck Lake (Whitehall) channel question

We are renting a cabin on Duck Lake in the end of july. I was wondering if the channel from Duck Lk to Lake Michigan is navigable or if we will have to launch somewhere else?

It is not open by way of boat.

yea, knee deep at best @ Duck Lake.

just south of your camp ground will be the Snug Harbor launch.

I'm not familiar with that ramp is it in whitehall or more towatd muskegon?

What lake is it on?

There is a township ramp 3 miles north of Duck lake that will work for you Steve (into White Lake). There is no way to get your boat out of the small stream coming out of Duck Lake. The area in front of Duck Lake is good fishing for Salmon.

Yeah that's going to hurt, because there is a small waterfall under the street bridge as well. This summer there was barely a trickle into Lake Michigan.

The ramp is located at the end of N Scenic drive.
