Does anyone use these for leadcore reels and has anybody had any problems with them? I picked up four of them from a buddy for the right price(free). How much lead can I put on them if i use 125 yds. of braid backing?

Skip the core and put 200 yards of braid, and 200' of 32# bloodrun copper. That will get you the same depth as a full core (40" +-).

I use them for 5 color cores, and 150 and 225 32# coppers. They work great.
