fishsniffer Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) based on last years schedule with one weekend moved due to other event changes here is what I have in mindOur tourney dates will be May 26th at MuskegonJune 9th at MuskegonJuly 7th at muskegonAug 11th battle of the leagues in Grand HavenAug 25th Muskegonwith blow dates the following day if possible.there will be 1 more date but we still need to figure out what it will be.the rules will be pretty much the same as last year but i will post a complete set as soon as possible.i know it seems a little vague right now just need to meet with some guys to see if were gonna change anything and wanted to throw something up and check to see how much interest we get.there will be 4 total events with 3 counting towards the year end total with 2 throw away events.we are looking to raise entry fees to increase payout a little..were trying to walk the line between a "fun"event and something that pays out enough to make it worth your time to fish..any suggestions welcome Edited July 2, 2012 by fishsniffer
fishsniffer Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 We had our meeting tonight and setup our schedule for this season with very few changes all rules and entry fees will remain the same. The olny change will be that we are going to a 50 30 20 payout for any event under 20 boats and 40 30 20 10 payout for over 20 boats. The schedule will be cut back to 4 events with best 3 for Port Championship scoring. We are adding a charity event this year and will be joining the Tri Port Ladies charity event. I will setup a separate forum section for info and discussion on that event it will be July 7th all proceeds will go to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Our tourney dates will be May 26th at MuskegonJune 9th at MuskegonAug 11th battle of the leagues in Grand HavenAug 25th MuskegonOne item left open is a planned fall Steelhead contest with details not worked out yet. I would still like to do a evening fishing event or 2 but that is up to getting guys together and try it.
Rob Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Could you fish the river for the fall steelhead contest?
