Nailer Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) So the winter boredoms are setting early. I thought if might be fun to post some of your best "If, Then's".One of my best when driving is;If, your in no hurry (apparent by the fact your going 10 mph under the speed limit), Than why did you pull right out in front of me? Edited January 5, 2012 by Nailer
luremaker Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 you mean you must be in a hurry by the way you are driving and pass me at 80 just to turn a 100 yards up the road. I just love days like that .
spoonfed Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 ride my butt, pass me and turn in your drive! tool! all in 1/2 mile
JWheeler Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Idiots on the highway. My cruise control works pretty good. Pass me, I pass you, pass me again. And then some how I'm boxed in and can't move cause of your idiotic driving.
Paulywood Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 If you're drinking my beer, then you can't complain about how cheap it is.
GLF Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 All of the above are so true! I also like the person who you see sitting at the corner from a quarter mile away, then right before you get to them, they decide to pull out right in front of you.
Treblemaker Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 If fish are slamming a particular lure, then how come once I bought 5 more of them they stop working all together?
anthonyyost Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 If fish are slamming a particular lure, then how come once I bought 5 more of them they stop working all together? I call that backing up the truck, kills it every time.
Turfwrench Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 No matter how fast you are towing your boat seems everyone just has to pass you.
sherman51 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 i drive a old motorhome around alot. and dont know what it is, but everybody has to get in front of me. even if i have to slam on the brakes to keep from running over them. i guess they think im going to slow them dowm. when in fack most of the time they slow me down,LOL. i usely end up having to pass them. and with a motorhome you have to have a good passing zone. just venting alittle about the guy that thinks mh,s cant run 55,LOL.sherman
luremaker Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 The best one is the weekend worriors at the ramp that only take there boat out once a year and forgot how to back it up and unhook it and then find out they should have charged the battery ,so they can start the boat after we have been waiting 20 min.I just have to laugh in anger.
Priority1 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Why do people drive 5 or 10 MPH under the limit on a two lane and then go 5 or 10 over when the get to a stretch with a passing lane?

Far Beyond Driven Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 If you don't have a clue on how to launch a both, then don't show up for the first time at noon on a Saturday.

To go one even better after the boat with dead battery will not start, jump start it with the truck, proceed out onto the big water 5+ miles, anchor and fish for awhile, and then realize that most outboard alternators do not put much back into a battery. Some dummy like me will tow them in.

Don't forget they love to listen to the radio while there out there fishing and run every thing the draw the battery down even more,And yes we all can be that dummy by towing then in normally with out a thank you. Isn't life on the water just grand.
nickoftime Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 setting in a turn lane waiting for a green light and not be ready when it turns green.

Nailer Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 I didn't need those six planner boards any way. Thanks buddyIf you have 3 miles of open water on both sides of us, Than why did you have to buzz the back of our boat and cut off all 4 of our boards?

Far Beyond Driven Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 If you're going to fish solo in the harbor, then fish the edge of the pack so you can bail out of the crowd while fighting a fish.....
Phishy Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 If you don't screw up once in a while, then you’re not accomplishing anything either
BenLubbs Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 If you didn't snag our line and cut it off, then why do you have lead core wrapped around you downrigger ball and why can I see you trying to hide our j-plug with your hand? (uhm Dave, lol)
Paulywood Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 If you don't screw up once in a while, then you’re not accomplishing anything eitherReminds me of something an engineer at my old job used to say: "If you're not breaking something, you're not working hard enough."
