A haywire like I posted with a shrink tube would work than?

yes but I dont do as many twist, its maybe an inch long at the most. The shrink tube keeps the ends from getting bunched up. Then on the leader side I use a trilene not

Does anybody know which tackle shops handle Blood Run copper and wire in the Grand Rapids area?

I bought mine at The Outdoorsmen in Jenison last year. At the time the prices were much, much better than you'll find on the internet too.

They shipped it right to my door, it was free shipping, at least at the time

I also use the twist method on both ends and to spice in the middle, Ive used a drop of supper clue in the past to fold a fray , but never realy have any issues with fraying. And this stuff gets used 3 days a week on average from march to oct.
