Dagwood Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 The struggle continues- went NW to 225 fow and trolled to 265 with nothing. Spoons- tried all sizes and colors on riggers, sliders, 10 color, and 300 copper with nothing. Finally the dipsey 200 back on 1 went with a big white paddle and pickled sunshine fly. 1 small king and that's all she wrote. Tried riggers from 45-100 down- blow back was huge at 100 so not sure what actual was. Not exactly prime time to fish as we trolled from 11:30 to 4 but I thought we should be able to do better than that. Tried 2.2-3.2 sog, zig zagging, and anything else I could think of. Oh well, great day to be on the water and I am not giving up yet.Reading the reports of 12-14 fish days keeps me motivated.Good luck, Dave
ALLEYES Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 The key for me last Friday mid day was focus on the slightly chalky water. That is where the biters were hanging out.
