jimbobber Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 ok here is my question I just put a lowrance hds 5 graph on my boat , and i like it very my much but i now am having problems with my fish hawk , it is not reading steady, i have the new probe and up to this point havent had any trouble reading it. the transducers are on opposite sides of the boat and i run the probe on the same side as the triducer. any body have this issue ? if so how did you fix it? thx in advance for your help guys. jimmy
jimcr Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 you could try changing your pinging speed and see what happends. I have a HDS5 and a tx96 . can't run them together unless I change the ping speeds. If you turn off your HDS5 does your temp level off? Are there any other electrical lines run with the Fish hawks the could cause interference. Is your battery new?
jimbobber Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 thx i will check it out to see if it works with the graph off, duh i did not think of that.
Line Dancin Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Jim also check the cone angle. I think it was set to 83. try the different cone angles also and see if that makes a difference. The 200 is the narrow cone. Also i think the ping speed was set to 15 kind of towards the high side.
