Far Beyond Driven Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 14 for 25 out of Holland this afternoon. One jack king, 2 coho, 10 mature kings and a 10.4# walleye on a #4 J-plug off a rigger. Had 7 rods out and all got hit but wonderbread J's off the slide divers were by far the stand outs.Cooler had 170# of fish in it and would not close, between that and the waves - some well over 6' when we quit - with all that weight on the swim platform the boat handled like a pig. Was glad to get her tucked back into the channel and grab dinner.
jimbobber Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 nice job kevin! It was awsome out there today,My daughter jess got a 5 lb king tonight while we casted the channel.
SUPERTRAMP Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Kevin u r killin me! I guess old age has slowed me down but 4 footers even in my hardtop are really uncomfortable for a 65 year old. I envy you young guys that so the things I did 35 years ago.
Far Beyond Driven Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 4 year old slept in the cabin the whole time, woke up and was bouncing around like a gerbil on crack after a couple hour nap. Wish I could handle that - I go in the cabin to get a lure in 2' waves and throw up.....
Just Hook'n Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Way to go. Can't believe some one was out there in that mess.
Nailer Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 You da man Kevin. Fun Morning. A cooler like that would win the wmfl tourney Sat. Are you in?
Far Beyond Driven Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 You know my opinion on that matter.
