Far Beyond Driven Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 With the forecast we decided a goose hunt was safer - in Newaygo County of all places. People across the road watched us from their porch, that is when they could see that far. Sideways rain, lightning, at one point the rain let up and we looked up to see 15 geese on the far side of the decoys - then before we could sit up the rain started again so hard you could not see 100'. Ended up with 8 and lost one that sailed onto land we didn't have permission to go onto.Any size to the brown?
jimbobber Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 no the brown was only 4 or 5 lbs nice job on the geese!
Far Beyond Driven Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Closest thing to a guided hunt I've ever been on - buddy had the tail end of the week off and did his homework - saved this field for us after hunting other ones on the opener and Friday.
