WALRANGER5 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 By all means stop the ballast problem. However long term it's what happens after they get in, whether ballast or swim in. Lack of predators allow invasive species to thrive, this is our fault. Lake Michigan is an invasive species factory, which is spreading invasives thru out the country. This is because it is managed as a saltwater fishery, thus invasive species are not threatened. This must change or we lose it all to the asian carp.
