anthonyyost Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Started on the water at 1:30 and went s.w. to 150 fow then turned north to the bank and got there just about 7:00 p.m. Prior to getting to the bank went 2 for 5 with a 12# steelhead and a 8# king. Just before dark had a real fire drill, by the time we had the fish in all the rods were out of the water so we called it quits. 2-20# kings, 1-18# king, 1-16# king and 3 around 8-12#. Took a couple of friends and their boys out, had a blast. Everything seemed to work except meat rigs, no hits.
maddiedog Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Just getting ready to present at work this morning and a buddy sends me a text at 9:55 that they had their 15 and were already cleaning fish this morning. they went north (with every other boat in Ludington).
DIRTY DOG Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Great job, I see a couple young men that look to be hooked for life.
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Quite right Dirty Dog, I like the smiles on those young gentlemen too, hooked for good I would think, such good fun for them.
Eliminator Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Great job, way to bring the youth into the best type of fishing.
