Sounds like guys are still doing well in spots in the inner bay but wanted to share a report from the Caseville area and out front of Hat Point. First time ever staying over in the thumb this past weekend and had a great time. Launched out of Caseville on Friday am and Port Austin on Saturday. Ended up catching our fish mostly out front if not a bit north and east of Hat Point both days in 30 to 35 fow. Most boats both days were outside of us. Ran all 2 oz inlines from 30 down on outside to 50 down on inside rod. Purple and blue northland blades #4 colorado's were fantastic and the pink spiderweb from Frank's was great too. Speed was 1.3 to 1.5 and was real impressed with the quality of the fish. All between 18 and 23 inches and great eaters. Nice to fish east side of the bay for a change and would like to go back and even venture around the point to check out the Grindstone city area sometime too.

Was fishing off Caseville last week and running just about the same program. Was 14 for 18 on the eye's with my 10 and 11 year old daughters. Going back on thrusday. We were between C island and the main land 24' of water and not a boat around us! We also ran a pink pa's 120' back that took four fish. The largest was 25" the rest were 18" to 22"
