Well, we fished our classic 7th place in the Holland Steelheaders event on Saturday. I utilized Don's laker taker program to finally get fish. We started in 150 and trolled out to 200 and missed two knocks on the dipsey out 175ish with a 8" yellow protroll and yellow fly on 1.5. Sooooo, we headed to laker grounds and found a few. got a double on dipseys right away - one king one laker. Got another large laker at 13lbs and picked on up on the rigger a little while later.

So, we were 4 for 6. Not horrible, but certainly not great.

Still, had a GREAT time with my dad and two great friends.

There were 20 boats, so I was not sitting too bad being in the top half.

I think 4 boats caught 10, I think one caught 8 another caught 5 and we were sitting in with most weight of a few boats that caught 4.
