Flyboy Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Anyone run 11" Paddles behind dipsies with any success? I've heard that they're to big to run behind dispies and with such a wide range of motion could cause problems. Any input?Flyboy
mattmishler Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Nope ran them today to no problems, i usually run 8inchers on highs and 11 when the fly bite is on.
Flyboy Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 Whats your lead length from dipsy to flasher for that Matt?
TIM61 Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Not true, been there done that and they will run behind a dipsey all day long........
Nailer Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I run them all summer long 7-8' behind a 124 walker diver. They rock when the fly bite is going.

DarkBlue Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Took a 24# tonight using a big one w/fly on wire. Works just fine.Chris
In The Net Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 it was out most productive setup last year... Pearl flasher and pearl fly took ALOT of fish.
SalmonSeeker Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I run 11" Paddles on my wire divers, 4-6 foot leads and have no problems at all. Run em deep, in the mud, Killer on inactive fish.
