Hotdog71 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Dad and I headed out last night at 6pm. Set lines in 50 fow heading north. Before we got setup, a 15# king took the 4 color with a Craig's Christmas when dad was putting it into the rod holder. Finished setting up, and decided to raise on of the downriggers to 20ft. It went 10 mins later, #13 king on a smashmouth. Hung around the area the rest of the evening. Didn't get another hit till 9:20pm. Nice 12# king took an oceana fly behind a blue bubble flasher on our 7 color. Pulled lines at 9:45 and found a shaker on the 4 color, Craig's Christmas.Super bumpy early on with all the boat wakes. Bait and water temp was good, so it was worth it. Heading home this week to take a trip to Boundry Waters in MN, so I don't know when I'll get back out there. Good luck!Keep um tight!
