Fake Bait Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Very nice night on the water for a boat ride....Set lines at 6:15pm in 80' of water. The spread had the entire water column covered. Trolled out to 130' and then back in to 45' and pulled lines at 9:15pm.Water was cold (47 degrees) 30' down. Pretty consistent from 120 all the way back in.Kept the skunk off fortunately. At 9:15 we pulled lines. While pulling in the 5 color a 3lb laker hit (at least one color was already on the reel). Very fresh fish and it went right back in the water.
