Fishme00 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I just picked up a Fishhawk TD unit and was wondering if anyone has tested it much? It is a small unit that attatches to the rigger or a line and tracks the depth and temp every 5ft. It is a bit heavier than I thought it would be and i am wondering how accurate it would be on tracking my depth of leadcore, divebombs, and various dipsey setups? just looking for feedback i am going to run some tests with it this weekend. thanks guys.
Gnarf Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 havent used one myself. Other i know are very happy with them. Great money saving way to find cold water and fond out how deep your lines are actually running.
CAC Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I have used mine once before today and it worked great. I put it down today and left it on for a long time. It shut off and did not read the results when I started it again. It is a helpful little tool for those of us who prefer not to spend the money on a probe unit.
