Boblo Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Good times on the pond!!! Finally had a decent night to take my bride out on the water..Action was good, although her new nickname for me is "can't keep em'hooked". hmmmm? Ended the night 1-5 with the one being a small laker (released)...Great night to be on the water.. Saturday started off with a bang. Set up in 195', first fish came at 215' on 300' copper pulling a double trouble which turned out to be a 10# king, second fish came at 223' on down rigger tipped with a flounder pounder parked at 75' 6# laker. 3rd fish hit at 232' on a dipsey set on 2 back 150' tagging along an orange flounder pounder 3 pound king. Had two beautiful rips on the dipsey's, landed one which was a 8# steelhead, a green glow frog did the trick on that one. the other.......see nickname above...lost yet another on a downrigger pulling a blue dolphin glow spoon. Last fish was another laker about 5#. Hit the dipsey with the #2 set at 150' with a strike king magnum? color resembles a white/purple. Ended the day at 5-7 at 10:45a.m. All fish came on a west troll from 215' to 245'. A great couple of days to be on water and enjoy the Lords splendor. Until next time...good fishing guys, and remember if you can't hook'em just tease em....---Bob
