j1musser Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Me and Fishwhisperer went 12 for 14 in SH. Cowbells, tin cans, and killer dolphin took em. Thanks to 2unreel for a deposit of ice and provisions. 110-154fow, with 2 throwbacks. Mostly riggers and dipsy bites. 2 Throwback lakers. 2 man limit
tadmdad Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 We fished the same water 6-25 p.m. 135-145 seemed best.Ended up 5 for 8, 3 kings, 1 steel, 1 coho, 2 kings lost at the back of the boat, moonshine pattern on 300' copper and wire dipseys were best in the last hour. We seen all of the lakers stacked on the bottom, asked my 3 buddies if they wanted to run laker pattern deep, earlier in the afternoon.Nobody wanted lakers...go figure.
j1musser Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 Our steelie went 12.5# and big king went 17.5#. We also got to meet the local C.O. He said my boat looked like a porcupine.
Grant Sadler Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Nice Job Jarod. make's you wonder if they ever seen a PORK-E-PINE LOL.....
Fishwhisperer Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 1 rigger was 70 down. The other was on the bottom or as far as 140 out..
Priority1 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Jarod, GJ man. It's nice you have connections. Keep hammering them. Your delivery man got a big payback with a chunk of Steel.
j1musser Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 VN Jarod, how deep were your riggers? As Randy said but our deep one had a 14# Ridgeback Rattler on the MANUAL rigger. Had to get the rod quick so ya didntr have to crank that beast up:D
Sea Eagle Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Great job - we fished on Sunday and only managed one king between 6:30 to 11:00 am.
Fishwhisperer Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 As Randy said but our deep one had a 14# Ridgeback Rattler on the MANUAL rigger. Had to get the rod quick so ya didntr have to crank that beast up:D Better bring your running shoes next time.
