Eliminator Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Started in the 80 FOW and went to 120, found 90-95 was best water. We picked up 2/3, both kings. One was a Blue Sexy Shad on a slider with the downrigger set at 48. The second was on a magnum diver set at 1.5 150 out. It had a UV Easter Egg?.... not sure. ( someone let me know). The lake was REALLY flat and nice. I am looking to change up some tackle, I just cant seem to break that 1-3 fish spot, never come home skunked, but rarely more then 3-4.

Brandon Dekker Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 You went fishing and ended up catching. It could be worse.Good job out there.
In The Net Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 yea we seem to comeback with 6-7 fish alot, but then i get home and read reports of 12-20 fish and it really frustrats me. I always feel like we do good and then i read dirty dogs reports and i get frustrated. Although i dont feel that bad because we usually outfish everyone at the docks in ludington. But we dont beat the charters.
SUPERTRAMP Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 When you read these reports of the guys getting 10 or more fish, remember these guys are most likely pulling 9-12 rods.Nice job on the 2Thats a fact and they fish everyday most likely. I live an hours drive fm the lake and I will not take my boat out solo. But we generally fish mornings and usually find fish quickly because we are slipped at the lake and have some local knowledge. But a solo 2 to 3 avg is great. 1 think u might try is just ask around where u r going to fish. Pyles in S.Haven always has good fishing reports. Too remember when the "cottonwood is flyin the fishin is dyin". This is a tough time of year. Give it 2 weeks and watch it pick up.
Far Beyond Driven Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 "Thats a fact and they fish everyday most likely."They're also networked really well, and lots of people won't post when they're not on fish.
DIRTY DOG Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Nice talking to you the other day Shawn ,and nice job.

Actually earlier in the year when we were in holland we based alot of what we did on ur reports and they are really helpful. Im just saying that we will come in with 7 fish and think we did really good, but then we see ur report and were always like what does he do so different??
DIRTY DOG Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Nothing different than anyone else, just lucky I guess.
