Flyboy Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Great morning out on the water. Had to fish through a little bit of rain, but all in all worth it. Ended up 14 for 22. Best depth was 87fow. Riggers 57 and 72 down were the best taking most of the fish and sliders above them all took alot of hits as well. The ones we missed weren't even hookups, they seemed to be slapping at the sliders. Still managed to catch a few off sliders though. Best baits by far were the yellow and green natural born killers. Probably took half the fish. Other baits that took hits and fish were green dolphin mag on a slider, blue dolphin medium on a slider, and a lemon ice 110' back on a 3 dipsy, green fishcatcher/pickled sunshine fly, and medium sized green dolphin on 150' of copper, double trouble on a rigger, nitro stinger on a rigger, flounder pounder on 250' of copper, and a nuclear veggie 220' back on dipsy. Best morning yet this year and it only gets better from here.
