westwind Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Fished from 7:30 - 9:00 tonight and ended up 6 for 8. Pretty steady action in 130 FOW down about 50-65. Hit rig was a revelator blue bubble flasher and a bigweenie Custom Blue Weenie Fusion XXXtreme Mountain Dew UV Trolling Fly. Took 3 hits in a row. Mag mod carmel dolphin had 3 hits, mag mod blue dolphin took 1 hit, and mag mongolian beef took 1 hit. Mostly all on south troll. Heading out in the AM to see if they are still there. Hits came on rigger, wire diver, and 300 feet copper.
Eliminator Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Great job Steve! Your the first I've heard with spin doctor luck this year. Its time to start putting them down.
BIGTREBLE Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Nice job Steve, I plan on getting out in the PM weather willing, out of the "HALL"
westwind Posted June 11, 2011 Author Posted June 11, 2011 Fished again this morning 6/11 and went 7 for 9 in same water. Strong bite again first thing at 6:30 and then by about 8 the bite was done. Nice fish, nothing over 10 pounds. Same program as yesterday. Love to be back on the lake and boat on the lift. New boat is working out great.
zollerj Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Steve were you fishing south of the channel then or north? Heading out of whitehall for the first time tomorrow pm, kinda curious on what direction to start out...
Just in time Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Good report. I have been having great success with the dreamweaver UV lures. Dipseys have been on fire with large white paddle and oceana fly. Green froggy spin doctor with blue bubble fly has been good for me also.
Boltman Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Great JOb Steve, Now talk to me about the HALL, how is the fishing here normally, still can't get out there and troll, got lot's more rigging to do on that boat, and then she might be ready...
