Sno09board Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Setup in 45 FOW at 6AM marking a lot of fish. Had three hits in this depth and only boated one fish. This bite slowed quickly and we worked out to 100-120 FOW where we picked away at them slowly for the next 3 hours. Ended up 8 for 10 with 7 kings and 1 laker. Big fish might have went 12 lbs.Setups that took fish:Blue/Yellow Dolphin Mag rigger at 65 (2) Fish and (2) MissesGreen/White Glow Spinny (White Blade) Green/white fly, Dipsy at 120' (2) FishSS Hot Lobster Regular on free slider Rigger at 80 (1) FishBlue Bubble Flasher/Fly: Dipsy at 180' (1) Fish250' 45# Cu w/ NBK JP Slammer (1) Fish300' 45# Cu w/ NBK JP Slammer (1) Fish

Fishmael Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 We were in the same water 0700-1200. Had 2 rookies on board, lost more than we caught, managed to box 3 kings Ended the day 3 4 8 however. Best water was 105 20-35 down. Glad to here such good reports makes leaving the dock more exciting. Hope everyone gets the chance to enjoy this warm weather and has a safe time out on the big lake. Hot lure has been mixed veggie for us. Fishmael
