SUPERTRAMP Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Saturday was kinda slow only managed 3 fish 2 kings and my first Laker of the year. Sunday was a different story. Started on a north troll in 40 FOW set 1 rigger and ran out a full core hooked on the board and turned to set another line and the Full core fired. Nice spring King about 6#, got re set and we had a hit on a 4 color with A fishlander orange moonglow with black tape, this rig took 3 hits and boated 2 kings, the 3rd one came off when a large stick caught up in the line and knocked the fish off just about 20 ft fm the net. The next fish was a nice King on a fullcore with a tequila Sunrise Fishlander spoon. We then had another hit on that rig and the old tree limb hit us again, cut the backer on the full core took the whole rig. We did manage to save the Church Walleye Board. All of the Kings came between 45 and 78 FOW on a West NW Troll at 2.5 mph. The Lakers came on a green Sigs rig Fly and Bechold flasher in green prism. In 95 to 110 FOW same direction but 90' Down.
