Hey guys ,

Just bought a set of Great lakes triple rod trees, and i was wondering if you guys could post pictures of your trees , Not sure where i am going to mount them yet. Figured a few pictures may help me deiced where to put them . Mainly should I put them in front of or behind my windshield?

here is a couple shots of my boat.

I would put them 6-10" forward of the "R" in the first pic.

Mine slip over the Aluminum peg that's mounted on the front of the wood plank.

As far forward as I could set mine. But behind the driver seats so you don't have to reach around the operator. Mine work great.

As far forward as possible and still reachable from the fishing area. With the rods forward they are not in the way while fighting a fish.

if it were me i would put them right even with the backrests of your driver and passenger seats so the persons driveing and rideing would not be in the way of grabbing a rod when it goes off. and you wouldnt have to lean over someones back to get it

Hey Ken, what size tubing did you make those trees out of, I'd like to make something exactly like what you have for my boat.

thanks,

Well I 'm just a little behind posting so here is a shot of the rod trees installed, Thanks for your input on the placement.

These are awesome, Wish I would have put them on to start with.

Really keeps the lines seperated.
