adrenalin Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Well fishing is awesome in Milwaukee, the cohos are here in full force. Went out after work at 4:00 and we had 17 cohos in 1 hour. Fished 35 feet outside the harbor, fish were piled up in the warm water. They hit everything we had out. They were even hitting while setting divers and boards. Up to 5 fish on at once. About half had big alewives in their stomaches. Should only get better.
A-Fishy-Anado Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Nice haul Russ! I see flies in your pics. Is that mainly what you are catching them on?
KJ pluggin Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Nice job Russ! what kind of water temps do you have out there right now?
killerbe20 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 nice russ! i figured they would be gone from Racine as soon as I got the boat in!
adrenalin Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 42- 43 degrees where the fish were. Mainly flies, but spoons also. They hit everything it didn't matter.
A-Fishy-Anado Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I like your spoon storage system: :thumb::thumb::thumb:
JWheeler Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Great job on the silver..... I like your spoon storage system: Any chance you can get a closeup picture of that storage system? I'd love to look into that for my boat too.... Thanks in advance
Just Hook'n Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Great catch, and GREAT news about the stomachs being full.
