rod holders???????????

i know the best holders are metal,but is there any good other models to use.want some thing for the dipsy rods out the side,jim

If you plan on running dipsey rods don't skimp on the holder. There is to much pressure and plastic holders do and will break. Kiss the rod, reel and all goodby.

your right on we did break a rod holder and had $125 dollar pole go over board in the dark,we were fortunate that the horse fly caught it,and after 20 minute fight we got pole and 18 pnd fish in.im going to have to find a adjustable tube for the dipsys,any suggestions,jim

You were lucky to get it back. Tite-Loc makes a good holder for the money. Own the higher end Bert's would be a good choice. One thing with the Tite Loc, get the screw in pins, heard the pull pins break to often.
