Just wondring has anyone ran from south haven to st joe on the water and if so how long does it take at what speed or how does it compare to port sheldon, holland and saugy in distance. thanks jimmy

A buddy has been getting a hit or 2 a trip from Holland to Saugy running 4 rods in close.

I have heard of some getting caught off Holland S the past few days

ya i have heard the same thing, the sliders and south they are here! coho,s and browns ,I am going south at least once then i will start out of holland ,maybe next week or so. jimmy

I am taking the boat to the sliders tonight... going to work the beach out to 50 FOW and try and catch a laker if nothing is going.

Got the machine fixed at work, so if the boat runs well, maybe head south Sat.

GPS says its about 17 miles pier to pier.

Jimmy, I made this run with Mike on GLF last year.

It was a long trip (obviously depends on the waves).

I wasn't sure on the distance, but if it is 17 miles, it's close to PS to Muskegon (which is 18miles). Just something to think about.

Fishing was good to us out of holland this morning

Stay away from the pack and you can get some fish. There were 10-15 boats all working the same area:(
