Twill23 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Was just curious when you normally start seeing your first few kings pop into the mix of coho down there, and how much earlier they seem so show up around Michigan City or Chicago. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks
Adam Bomb Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Had me excited there. Though you might have got some spring kings...lol

silver one Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 St.joe has been my home port since being a kid fishing with my dad (super tramp) and we have caught nice kings as early as the 1st week of april. when the coho move a little deeper say 30 to 60 feet you will start seeing kings. taken some nice kings on the j 13 orange and gold rapala on a single color swr on boards. Thundersticks are a nice choice as well.
