ALLEYES Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Started out right by the piers and before I had the second rod down the first one was bucking. Ended up to be a small iron noggin. After that all hell broke loose for the first 45 minutes with the coho, then a short lull and picked off a few more. Ended up 16 for 21. Had to throw the last one back, it hit as we were pulling rods. Anything orange. Riggers 10' down 40 back smashed banana and another spoon I don't know the name of. Orange Crawdad HJ 14's, orange Hot N Tot, Orange and gold Salmo minnow bait and orange and red Tadpolly all took fish. I set all the baits 30' behind the boards. And ran high lines 100' and 150' back.
flyman013 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Nice job! I love to see them coming out of South Haven. Hope the weather will cooperate for me this weekend, but not looking promising.
