I know I started this thread a while ago, but for the life of me I can not find it. I will ask the question again.

Port side

Rigger

Diver

300 ft of 32# BR Super copper = 60 feet down

Full core 27# Lead core = 40-50 down

Starbord side

Rigger

Diver

350 ft of 32# BR Super Copper = 70 feet down

Full core 27# Lead core = 40-50 down

5 color 27# Lead core 20 down (If I am motivated)

Last year made me a beliver in flashers and flies, and I want to work in 1 more at times Can I get away with running them on my copper without the spinnies/flashers taking out the full core?

I've personally been on boats that run spinnies on 300 copper, next to full core with spinnies and flies, next to 5 color with spinnies and flies.

However, I will say that my a$$ was puckered the entire time.

I thought we were in for a mess of trouble, but he made it work.

Keep in mind, your copper or core will not run as deep with a flasher/fly.

Or, to gain depth, add a Ace Hi plug.

As long as you pay attention when setting lines and don't take to tight of turns you should be alright. You could also throw a dive bomb on those inside boards to give them a bit more separation if your worried about it.
