Killin' It Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Pick me out a graph and why you chose that graph.I am very unfamiliar with all the bells and whistles. Can they pick up the thermocline?
sjk984 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Ihave a Hbird 587 combo that pics up the thermo on the switch fire mode.I payed 450 for the combo unit but have seen the 500 series graph only for $350 or less on sale. So far it has worked better than expected for a cheaper unit.Steve
Grant Sadler Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Dave, Do they make one for $400 or less? LOL I have a 510C and it shows Termo's but it was more than $400 4-5yrs ago I think cause lorance came out with the new models the yr after, Go figer.Good luck Dave.
Killin' It Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 400 is what I have left over in my budget... So if they dont well I a stuck with the one I have I guess
SPOONWASHER Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Picked up a 757c at Gander last year for 350. It is a dual unit and seems to work great. GPS works well, and the speed is right on with the handheld.
Nailer Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 For finding the temp break, get one of these Fish Hawk TD
Paulywood Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Here are a couple of options Dave. It might be good to know what you have now in order to figure out if you are making a significant upgrade. Both of these have the ability to read the thermocline and high resolution. Look like decent units for $400.http://www.marinediscountcenter.com/product_info.php?cPath=3302916_3302963&products_id=48756009http://www.marinediscountcenter.com/product_info.php?cPath=3302916_3302963&products_id=51356823
