flyman013 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I got a new boat cover for this year. I want to make sure it lasts as long as it can. It is a nylon fabric cover and is in direct sunlight all day long. Do they make a UV blocker spray or some type of treatment to prevent UV breakdown?
fishsniffer Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 i sprayed mine with thompsons water seal a few years ago and it worked great..used a weed sprayer bottle to apply it

Line Dancin Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I third what don said. We use Thompson water seal on our Revolutionary war reinactment tents. Better than Canvak and doesnt change the color much.
