Garrison Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I went out yesterday about 8:30am. Set lines just outside the mouth and headed west. Within 10 minutes we had our first Coho of the day. Lake had the slightest chop but within an hour it got real flat. We had picked up 3 within the hour, but then sun came out and the lake got calm. We had been trolling in close about 13' to 15' deep @ 2.3 to 2.5mph. We were able to get another 3 before calling it a day, but we were only on the lake till 11:00. The last three were all caught in 6' to 7' deep @ 1.6 to 1.7mph. The magic bait of the day was the red w/black squiggles thin fish between 75' to 100' behind the boat. . We may have been able to get more but out lines keep hitting bottom.
