Jason, to answer your qustion yes, but if you can get fish with a clean spoon why have to agravation:eek:, I only run a dodger/spoon setup when I have to produce fish like in tornaments, you can switch ends of your dodger by cutting the welded rings and replace them with good heavy split ring, because a dodger has a bigger bend on the backend so at a faster speed it will spinn out, so by putting the bigger bend on the front you can run up to 2.5 mph and pull spoons behind.

CAUTION; keep these dodgers marked:thumb:, just run them in faster speed setups, I effectively run these with a 20"-24" leader to the spoon, also I run speed and temp at ball cause of currents can be different and make for a bad day, I hope this helps, :thumb:

I havn't tried in quite some time. This is because I have taken the philosophy of using what works. I have only caught a couple fish on a contraption like that. One was a brown.
