TWIC centers seem to be getting better.

Had to renew in Feb. Our office is only open on Mondays. Renewal was processed and back to the enrollment center in 1 week.

Mine is good till 2012. I got mine right away when we were told. Why is your's expiring so fast ?

I took the option to have it come due the same time as my license. Should have taken the full five yr option.

Just went for the new appl. and approval today, the fingerprint machine, digital, wasn't picking up my prints, or at least only up to 43% instead of 80%+ to pass. Just wondered if you guys were experiencing the same snafus? Kept saying the fingers too wet, when they were bone dry. Thanks.

I keep hearing rumors that the USCG is going to remove the TWIC requirement if you are running charters in a non secure port. I just sent in my renewal packet and it still required a TWIC. Hopefully in the next year they will have an absolute answer.
