Now I've got a little networking background so I'm not pc challenged. But...

I go to sign into MSN.

It says I forgot my password.

You hit forgot password link.

Say's password just got emailed to me, after confirming the email address.

Now, if I don't know my password, how do I get the mail?

I think I've seen it all now.

After you confirm your email, they will send you another email with your password

the email they confirm is my msn/hotmail account.

I can't get into that account without the password, so what good is it to send the password to that email?

LOL That is why you register with an alternate email addy..

I will check at home tonight, I think I have a proggy to recover your password

Usually they require an email address when you register. This way they can send you the password in case you forget yours.

If you did use another email address when you registered, put that email address in when you are asking for your lost password
