Nailer Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) I had a guy send me a pm the other day on how I mounted my diver's, and trees. Like his, my boat has a step in the gunnels. The previous owner had made a platform for the rigger (removed), and I expanded on it. The wood is 5/4 ironwood. Ironwood is sometimes used for decking, and has a natural resistance to rot. Plus it looks good. I thought I would share this. Edited February 14, 2011 by Nailer
Ashman Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Looks like it came from the factory that way....excellent job!
Priority1 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Ken, It looks good. Getting the rods up a bit will keep the Diver rod tips out of the water.
KJ pluggin Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 That's a nice and clean looking setup Ken, nice work! I think that's about the best use for ironwood I have seen yet.
BenLubbs Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Thanks for posting that picture up Ken, I was actually going to ask for one after our talk saturday:thumb:
