Early spring fishing

I usually fish Detroit in the early spring for walleye but due to fiancial restraints I would like to fish the westside this year. I fish out of GH but have never had much luck with the browns. What about Port Sheldon? Thought I might fish there for Browns and maybe pick up a walleye or 2.

There are browns around PS, Holland and further south like Saugatuck and St. Joe. Maybe Kevin (Far Beyond Driven) will chime in. He fishes browns alot out of those ports.
