Nailer Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) 2010 West Michigan Fishing league Official Rules Event 1,2,3,and 4 you can set lines at 6 am and pull lines at Noon Event 5 you can set lines at 7 am and pull lines at 1 pm. We will fish predicted seas of 1-3' or less. (or game day call) I would like to encourage reports posted from teams after the events. We would not exist without the site's. Please be open to helping other league members.1. Communications encouraged on channel 72. Keep it clean for this is a family oriented event.2. Max of 8 rods in the water at one time.3. Tourney Fees. 15 dollars for tourney, 5 dollars for big fish.4. Tourney Pay Outs will bea. 1st place 50%b. 2nd Place 30%c. 3rd Place 20%d. Tiebreaker will be biggest fish. If after big fish there isstill a tie:i. If 1st place is a tie then 1st and 2nd place will beadded together and split.ii. If 2nd place is tied then 2nd and 3rd place will be addedtogether and split.iii. If 3rd place is tied then 3rd place will be split.e. Big fish, is winner take all of big fish money.5. Weigh 1 DNR limit. Weigh Big Fish First. Only one fish may beweighed per boat for Big Fish.a. 0-Lakersb. 5-Cohoc. 10-Kingsd. 15-Steelheade. 20-Brownf. Point Per Pound6. Max of 3 DNR limits of fish per boat may be kept.7. Roll call at 9 am, or check in before leaving radio contact. Have your Radio on channel 728. Money is due at weigh-in, unlessyou catch me before I leave the dock. Gentleman's honor to pay.9. Start out of the same port as the weigh in.10. If two members are fishing together than the boat they are fishing out of gets the points.11. Follow all other State and Federal Laws. The captain is responsible for his crew. Keep it safe.12. Blow date will be the following day. If both day are blow days, it will be a lost tourney.13. END OF YEAR BIG FISH CONTEST. To Enter the end of year big fishcontest each team must submit 1 unused lure (pick one of your best). The teamwith the big fish for the year will receive the lot of lures fora prize. You must submit your new lure prior to weighing your bigfish.14. You do NOT need to fish all events to partake in this league.2011 West Michigan Fishing League Dates.Holland DNR launch located next to (east of) Yacht Basin Marina.Approx. 1840 Ottawa Beach Rd. Holland, Mi 49424Weight in will be held in the overflow parking lot across the street, next to the fish cleaning station.The battle of the Leagues will be the top three teams from the MSCST against the top three teams of the WMFL.Tentative dates are:May 14 HollandJune 4 HollandJuly 9 HollandJuly 23, Dreamweaver BFK event out of Muskegon by Sixshooter and others. (not for standings)Aug 13 Battle of the leagues. Grand Haven.
