Ice_man_08 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 About 4 of my freinds and i went out smelt fishing at gull lake last night. We got to the lake around 4:00pm and as soon as we got to the smelt grounds a guy hit a double. We got set up and were on smelt by 445. There were in the bottom 10 fow and only getting better. by 8pm the smelt were 1-8' under the ice and you could sight fish them. Halis andglows seemed to be the trick.
