Sea-Mac Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 Never be afraid to cut against the grain. Ya may just stumble on something. Like a Fly Crawler Harness?
Pioneer Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 One year I got a 16#6oz steelie out of Algoma on a white dodger and a baby blue/chart yellow beaded fly on a 6 color. Over the years I have gotten a ton on spoons but, as this post shows, some big boys come on fly's.
mayvillemark Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I want one of those fly crawler harnesses but I aint gonna try it for steelhead! And sorry its been a couple days that aqua gold fly is a standard size not gold at all its mostly teal and glow.

Sea-Mac Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Put some shrimp on there;)Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it
Killin' It Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hey,Shrimp has caught browns, coho, lots of steel, and a few small kings. I am going to try the brads cut plugs this year on every trip. They should work... so why not:)
Priority1 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Mike, One thing about shrimp if the fish don't cooperate eat the bait. Pass the shrimp sauce.
