KJ pluggin Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Which do you prefer. I am looking to cover Lake Michigan and WI inland lakes.
Adam Bomb Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Don t know about Navionics, but i just got the Lakemaster Michigan chip for my garmin and am very pleased with the detail. The detail on Lake Michigan is awesome. My Chip covers all of Lake Michigan.
KJ pluggin Posted December 26, 2010 Author Posted December 26, 2010 I have seen the Garmin Lakemaster maps and thought they were pretty good. Is the Humminbird Lakemaster pretty much the same?
Adam Bomb Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Im not sure. If you go to the Lakemaster site they have example of the maps for hummingbird, lowrance, garmin:thumb:
Adam Bomb Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Heres the linkhttp://www.lakemap.com/gpsfishingmaps-humminbirdwisconsin.aspx
Nailer Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 My Navionics chip dose not had as much detail as Adams link.
KJ pluggin Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Heres the linkhttp://www.lakemap.com/gpsfishingmaps-humminbirdwisconsin.aspxThe thing that worries me is that it says all of Lake Michigan in 5' and 10' contours, I would like to have more detail than that.
Adam Bomb Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Its pretty darned detailed. I can snap some shots of it and show you if youd like.
Adam Bomb Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 This off of Big Sable Point Strait out From Ludington
1mainiac Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I have the Lake Master Pro chip in my Lowrance and love it has over 800 lakes and all of Lake MI most of Huron and Superior very nice detail and pretty accurate as well.
jimcr Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 looks a lot like my lakemaster Wisconsin, that I run in my GPS from my car.Its so nice to be able to see the contours, and they are in 5 foot intervels.
