OK...Took a good look at the picture to see the numbers on it, and did a google search for Raymarine A70. Its a chart plotter!

guess i could have put that...i had been researching it so much that in my mind everyone knew what it was...i wish it was an auto pilot:)

Well I at least knew what it was LOL. Very nice Don let me know when you want to install it and I will be there if you want help. Does that one have the built in maps or did you skip that and just plan on putting a chip in it cause the built in map in my Lowrance pretty much sucked since it had more detail on Europe than the Great Lakes LOL.

it has preloaded cartography and its 10 times better than what i had..but they have 3 upgrades for it..navioncs gold,platinum and fish n chip..the ladder used to be free but is now a stand alone and retails for roughly 179..so i will be sticking with what it came with:(

Cool will look forward to seeing it in action mine is going on 4 years old so I expect this may be it's last season.

Ok, now I don't feel so dumb. I too thought it was autopilot. Guess I just have autopilot on the brain.
