BenLubbs Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I use spin dr's almost exclusively when fishing attractors and flies. I have always wondered if I should try to adjust the main line and fly attachments. So far I have never touched them. What do you guys do? Do you just leave them the way they come, change them and leave them, or change them throughout the year to catch fish? Also, how do you attach your flies to the swivel on the back? I have been making a loop on the end of my fly leaders and then threading the loop through the eye of the swivel, and then threading the hook, beads, and skirt through the loop. However, it makes changing out flies a pain.
mattmishler Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 All i do is leave it on the more action side and tie my fly to the snap makes changing out flys to other spin docs a breeze
Nailer Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Use the finn side hole, the way they come in the package.
Grant Sadler Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Use the finn side hole, the way they come in the package. Same here,
killerbe20 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I do the same. if its working for you, i wouldn't change it
jimcr Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I use them on the more action hole . and I attach a cross lock snap to the end of the leader , so if i change a fly it only takes a few seconds.

So many inappropriate comments could be made about 'wrong hole' or 'more action hole' but I'll hold back. The hole that produces more action IS the hole that has the end of the fin next to it. -Champ

There is inconsistency in the printing from Dream Weaver. Use the fin side for best results.

The other side would give it a tighter but more snappy kick.
jimcr Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Next spring I will run 2 side by side and use each with a different hole , I'll let you know what happends.
Nailer Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I have, and have seen this question asked many, many times. The vast majority of time the answer is fin side.
