Josey_Wales Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Thanks to Eyefull and the custom 9'6" rainshadow, I was able to get one small steelie drifting spawn. around 17 inches long. Another fisherman caught one with a inline spinner walkin the bottom. Thanks again to Tony, LOVE THE NEW SETUP.
Line Dancin Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Man you just brought up memories. I used to fish yates like 20 years ago when i was in college at henry ford community college and u of m dearborn. That is a nice place to fish close to home. Nice job on the steelie. Usually when i used to fish there i would keep going downstream to get away from all the people and would get into more fish that way.
Eyefull Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Glad it worked out! The fish are in serious trouble now.
Josey_Wales Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 It was awesome... I think I got my picture in the paper too.. I was fishin with my Dog, and I was standing out in the middle of that River almost floating away, while my Choclate Lab Trigger was just standing like a statue with his feet in the water watching me. Some guy was out there taking pictures and I caught him snapping a few of Trig and I... I was going to ask what they were for, but I was focussed on my goal =) Gonna hit up some of the tributaries of the Black on Friday, and I will have my camera this time. Thanks again for all your help. EVERYONE here.
