scgibby11
Hello,I think I have one or maybe two trips left in me for the season on the Great Lakes. One is going to be this coming Monday, October 11th in the afternoon evening.I'm looking for advice on what to target and what will give my buddy who is coming along the best chance to land a few.I was out 2 days ago, and the water is still warm (55 in the river, 62-62 surface beyond the river plume) and got warmer (64) as I went out to 180 FOW.I'm thinking to shoot for surface steel, but any help would be appreciated.Scott
flyman013
Good Luck Scott. I too am hoping to make it out of South Haven after work Monday. My plan is to start in the 60's and work my way out. I do like the thought of targeting steel in the upper levels. If all goes well, I'm may go out Sunday night too. I'll let you know what I find. scgibby11
Thanks for the reply. I assume you mean you will start at a temp break of 60 degrees? Or did you mean 60 FOW?I'll be on channel 68 Monday, "Damsel Fly".Thanks again.Scott
