flyman013 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 We will be raffling some trips at work to raise money for the United Way. One trip they want to do is Charter fishing from Ludington. What are some good, reputable charters out of Ludington? The trip will be for next year and for up to four people. Thanks for any advice!
Grant Sadler Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Raptor and Free Style come to mind a couple of my freinds was on them good people they say.
anthonyyost Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 There are some nice fellows in the Ludington City Marina, I met Keith, the Captain of Lies A Lot and I think he would do a good job plus he is friendly and talkative.
EdB Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Keith Kloat on Lie A Lot is my neighbor and I'll 2nd him as a good charter but he is taking off antelope hunting till month end. He had a real nice box last weekend.Dave Ellis on Salmon Slayer is another good captain, he's still running trips and you'll have a great time with him too.Grant recommended some good captains too. Here's a link to reach all of them, definately use someone in the LACA vs. a fly by night boat:http://www.ludingtoncharterboats.org/captains.shtml
Adam Bomb Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Captain Glen Beuner is damned good from the Raptor. Buddy Chartered him 4 times and limited all but one trip...and they did good for a trip getting cut short cause of weather.
mattmishler Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 glen on the raptor/encore always catches fish. But no one has the ole polecat 3. He knows how to fish
