Ok, let try this again, and hope the weather is a little nicer for a change.

Next Saterday is the last monthly GLF outing for the season, is anyone interested in this?

As allway this is not a contest of any type, just a group of members and there crews out to try and catch a bunch of fish and have a good time.

You can leave the dock when ever you wish and just fish as you allway would " no rod limet or crew restictions",the plan is to meet back at the fish cleaning station around noon or 1 and have a little meet and great.

the fishing in holland is good right now got our 2 man limit tonight the blood run wire divers were on fire tonight with crome blue sipnnies 250 back rolling 3.5 on the gps get out there and get them guys:thumb:

I'm curious when someone has room for a person in their boat to go fishing, what is required/expected of the guest? (Other than being courteous) Cost? Equiptment? etc.

usually a gas money contribution is nice but not expected and maybe a few snacks or something the most important thing is you must have a good time thats the main point of fishing! , otherwise every thing else is covered , equipment ect.

Well I'd be happy to contribute towards gas and bring some snacks....seems very fair.

So next time you are looking for a rider (any of you) send me a PM and if I can get away I'd love to go. Can't do it this weekend though ....got to get ready for heading up to Little bay de Noc the following Thursday morning. hoping the walleyes are biting.

Fair warning, I've never done the kind of fishing you guys do for trout etc, so I'd need schooling.... good news is I don't get seasick.

Thanks for the input Don, and your write, we ended up 2 for 3 or 4 last nite ,blue chrome on a wire diver back 250 and a mt. dew on a braid back 280 in 180 fow.

I won't be there this weekend but next year if this is still going on I am probably just going to leave a boat over on the west side and just come over for the outings.

dirty dog you need a rider for sunday? my boat is getting winterized saturday. but would like to get out one more time this year. it was kind of hard to fish and pay the bills being laid off almost all summer.
