Yes, horrid forecast. Was hoping to fish Saturday early and into the afternoon. Doesn't look like from every forecast that I have read. Looks like Monday Tuesday of next week should be good. Hope to get out to the pier regardless this weekend and take some footage and snap a few photos, so once I return to a PC I will share some pics.....

Might also make a trip for pics/video. We went last year and it was one of the coolest things I've seen. 20 footers were getting the tires wet on the North side of the south haven pier.

I took my boat over to the Ludington City Marina today just to get the boat in the water before the winds got bad. Plan on going back over on Friday to stay on the boat through next Sunday, looking forward to seeing 15 foot waves!

I am planning on being in Manistee this weekend. Looks like I will bring the fly rod and play with some salmon in the rivers. Hope to get out on Sunday and Monday. I too hope to get some pictures.
